Places To Explore
There are places worth a visit, including the Phoenix Family Thrill roller coaster that opened this summer in Coney Island. At 20 meters high, it reaches speeds of 55 km / h.
When it comes to heights, of course, you have to look at the new SUMMIT observation deck, which crowns the iconic new One Vanderbilt skyscraper. Midtown’s tallest observation deck offers views of the Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, and North Central Park. Its glass floor offers a unique feel 305 meters above Madison Avenue.
Also opening will be this 2022 RiseNY by Running Subway, which explores New York’s history through immersive experiences, and the American LGBTQ + Museum, which will be located at the New York Historical Society in Central Park West.
Hudson River Park, Pier 76 is also a pleasant outdoor space with different plates describing the history of the area and a propeller from the ocean liner SS United States, famous for holding the record for the fastest passenger ship to cross the Atlantic.
Little Island at Pier 55, a charming public park perched on tulip-shaped pillars above the Hudson, featuring green spaces, a 687-seat amphitheater, a plaza, and various stalls with food and drink options.
