Its inauguration was in the year 1766, and since then the Chapel of San Pablo has survived an innumerable number of tragedies and catastrophes that have transcended many stories about it. There are those who say that in its cemetery you can perceive the presence of entities that roam the place. One of the scariest stories is that of the ghost of George Frederick Cooke, a British actor who sold his head to science after going bankrupt and tells the story that from that moment his headless spirit can be seen prowling around.

Morris Jumel Mansion

This old mansion located north of Manhattan dates from 1765, in addition to being considered the oldest house on the island, it was turned into a museum and functioned as the headquarters of General George Washington for five weeks during the United States Revolution. The story goes that it is common to see specters walking through its corridors. This is why it has been investigated by ghost hunters in search of the spirits of former residents, soldiers, enslaved people and even the former Vice President of the United States, Aaron Burr.

Chelsea Hotel

It is located at 222 West 23rd Street, between Seventh and Eighth avenues. At only 12 stories tall, it was considered the tallest building in Manhattan in the year 1883 when it was built. Great personalities of the time stayed there.
