Ronen Suarc will present his work on a tour of the United States, with performances in Miami on March 26 at the Tower Theater, and ending in Orlando on March 28 at Timucua Arts. The performances will begin at 8:00 PM in each city.

The Stand Group, the creator of The Stand Restaurant and Comedy Club, has announced that it will open a 10,000-square-foot, two-level Miami branch of its famous New York City club this year. Known for their ability to cast exceptional comedy talent, brothers Paul and Cris Italia and Patrick Milligan will collaborate with local partners to produce a series of comedy shows in Miami ahead of the new club’s opening.

The first of these events will feature the participation of Carlos Sánchez, an icon of standup comedy from the Dominican Republic. Sánchez will offer a show entirely in Spanish at the historic Manuel Artime Theater on Friday, April 12, accompanied by surprise special guests.

Carlos Sánchez is a comedian from the Dominican Republic with more than 22 years of career. He is known for his exquisite material about parents, wives and children, and has filled the most important theaters in the Dominican Republic. He has opened for some of the most popular shows in the world, such as Marc Anthony in front of 7,000 people, and has shared the stage with the biggest names in Venezuelan, Colombian, Cuban, Spanish and Mexican comedy. Founded by brothers Cris and Paul Italia, David Kimowitz and Patrick Milligan, The Stand has been named the best comedy venue by New York Magazine and TimeoutNY.
